Do you remember in the past we had “normal” years?

Years without big drops in quantities, fulfilling our production according to our planning.

Years without huge demand increases, not suffering suddenly from unexpected bottlenecks.

Years without huge increases or reductions in prices coming from logistics, energy, inflation, raw material, etc.

Years when we could define a middle/long term strategic plan and work on it in a stable way.

Maybe I am wrong, but I believe that those “normal” years will not come back.

Markets and competition nowadays is so dynamic that speed and change will be the new normal, and to be successful we need to adapt ourselves to this new environment.

But does it mean that material Group Strategies are not needed anymore? Not at all, just the opposite. Defining the right strategies will be more challenging, but also more important than ever before.

To have the right partners with enough flexibility, agility, cost transparency and installed capacities will be mandatory in the future. Without them we will be automatically out of the market.
